The climate in Fuerteventura can be described as a subtropic desert climate.
The temperatures don’t change very much during the whole year. In the summer month from 24º - 29º, and in the winter month from 21º - 27º.
The water temperature is around 21º- 27º.
In spring and summer the trade winds from north east reach the Canaries. This wind is redirected into a north west wind in the south of the island, that means that the wind at our windsurf centre blows constantly.
By consequence of the redirection of wind in this area through a mountain chain the wind blows much stronger in this area.
